Memorial Services
If you’re planning a memorial service separate from the funeral, I can help you create a heartfelt ceremony that honors the memory of your loved one in a meaningful way. Memorial services can take place anywhere and often provide more flexibility in terms of location and tone.
Celebrations of life
A celebration of life focuses on the joy and beauty of the person’s life rather than the sorrow of their passing. Together, we’ll create a ceremony that highlights their passions, achievements, and the love they brought to those around them. This can be a more lighthearted and uplifting way to remember a loved one.
The first step is to meet, either in person or online, to discuss your loved one and how you would like to honor them. I’ll listen to your stories, learn about their life, and get a sense of the tone and style you’d like for the ceremony. We’ll also talk through any specific elements you’d like to include, such as readings, music, or family involvement.
01 - Initial Consultation
Once we’ve spoken, I’ll start working on a ceremony that reflects the personality, values, and spirit of your loved one. I’ll send drafts for your approval, and we’ll collaborate to ensure that everything feels right for your family. If there are specific religious or cultural elements you’d like to include, I’ll ensure they’re respectfully integrated.
02 - Crafting your ceremony
I will work with the funeral home or the location of your choice to coordinate the ceremony logistics, ensuring that everything runs smoothly on the day. This includes managing the timing of speeches, music, and any other elements you wish to include.
03 - Coordinating
On the day of the service, I’ll be there to lead the ceremony, offering words of comfort and ensuring that everything flows as planned. My role is to help you focus on the memory of your loved one, guiding the ceremony with care and respect.
